Prior to, Cara was VP and executive of talent acquisition teams for large national and international companies—ARAMARK, Kaiser Permanente®, Baxter Healthcare—and small- to mid-sized firms from Silicon Valley start-ups to staffing agencies. Now she helps people get jobs and trains the next generation of career coaches. Cara is Founder and CEO of Ready Reset Go®, career coaching firm helping people find jobs they love and training coaches to do the same. Ready Reset Go® helps job seekers get clear on their next career step and have that narrative sing through the documents to the interview, so that companies sees all that they can contribute and can’t wait to bring them onboard.

Cara is a best-selling author of The Art of Finding the Job You Love, and co-author with renown Brian Tracy of the best-selling book Ready, Set, Go! Cara consults at companies to build internal career coaching teams that both manage recruiting and reductions to retain talent by redeploying them within their own organization. Cara has a MBA from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Business from the University of Hawaii. She is a certified Senior Professional Human Resources, a Certified Professional Résumé Writer, a Certified Professional Career Coach, and on the FORBES® Coaches Council. She is also Lominger Recruiting Architect® and TRACOM® Group Social Styles certified. She is on the Board of Directors of Wardrobe for Opportunity, a nonprofit in Oakland ending poverty by helping individuals get a job, keep a job, and build a career. Cara resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two boys where she runs throughout the east bay hills training for marathons and crazy fun 24-hour relay races.
